===A Change of Perspective===
The cat is smaller than the dog.
{{Box|Task 11|As the author, Margaret Atwood chooses deliberately to tell the narrative from Offred's point of view. Try rewriting the scene between Offred and the Commander outlined in chapter 32 from the Commander's perspective. Include his thoughts and feelings!

'''Start''' from the line "The Commander, last night, fingers together, looking at me as I sat rubbing oily lotion into my hands." UNTIL "Better never means better for everyone, he says. It always means worse, for some." (Atwood, 1985. p. 221)|Arbeitsmethode

After reading chapter 1, you made predictions about what would happen in the novel. You also predicted how the story would end.

Have your predictions changed? What was different so far from what you expected? Has something played out the way you guessed? And: how do you now think the novel will end?

'''Take notes''' on a sheet of paper. Then go to https://vocaroo.com/ and record yourself talking about your thoughts and (changed) predictions.
