Robin was a guest at a poor man’s house. Suddenly their little girl ran into the room. “The Sheriff’s men are coming!” she shouted. Robin wanted to run out of the house, but it was too late. The men were already at the door. The parents were scared but the little girl had an idea. There were some old clothes in the house. She showed them to Robin. “Yes, let’s try it,” he said. “Maybe we can play a trick on them.” When the Sheriff’s men opened the door, they saw the little girl, her father and mother – and another woman. “Yes, what do you want?” the father asked the men. A big man said, “We’re looking for Robin hood and his outlaws.” “Well, can you see an outlaw here?” the father asked. “No!” was the answer, and the men left. Inside the house Robin took off the old clothes and everyone laughed.
